How About Using the Canon 7D To Shoot A Sprawling Anamorphic Film?

Philip Bloom also spoke about a modification to his 7D – a lens mount for shooting in anamorphic – thus using up as much of the sensor as possible by compressing in a wider image that later gets expanded back out to full length in post. This video (not by Philip Bloom) shows this approach at work, and it looks amazing.
